You work at the devil's casino as a blackjack dealer, and your job is to take EVEN MORE money from players than you already would!

As the dealer, you get to peak at the cards before they're played on the table and apply chance based modifiers to rig the game in your favor!

For those unfamiliar with blackjack, there's instructions inside the game's Options Menu, and we also included one at the bottom of this page

How to play blackjack! (also explained in this link https://bicyclecards.com/how-to-play/blackjack)

In blackjack, the blackjack players try to beat the dealer by getting their cards as close to 21 without going over! Face cards count as 10 points, and Aces count as 1s or 11 (whichever is more beneficial!)

The basic outline of the game is both the dealer and blackjack player are dealt 2 cards. The blackjack player then decides to continue getting cards to get closer to 21. If they go over 21 they lose! The dealer then does the same, but they have to hit until their total is over 17 and then stop.

Whoever is closer to 21 at this point wins!

This is explained in more detail below!

Phase 1: The deal!

The dealer (you!) will deal two cards to yourself and then two cards to the blackjack player. One card to yourself will be dealt facedown, but as the dealer, you can check the value of that card by remembering it (i.e. hovering over it)

The blackjack player can't make any decisions during this phase! If the dealer or the player get 21, the game ends here!

Phase 2: The player's turn!

The blackjack player will decide to hit, stand, or double down. You can see their intent above their head! As the dealer, you'll deal them cards whenever they decide to hit! If their card total gets over 21, they immediately "bust" and lose! Otherwise, the dealer deals until they decide to stand. If they double down, it's the same as hitting but their bet is doubled

Phase 3: The dealer's turn!

The dealer does not get to decide to hit/stand themselves. Instead, they simply hit until their card total is at least 17, or they bust. Since you're playing as the dealer, you have to abide by those rules! All you can do is a little slight of hand to change your cards

Phase 4: Final comparison!

If no one has busted, the blackjack player's card total is compared to the dealer's card total. Whoever is closer to 21 wins!
